Bad
news came from Google recently. Google has just announced that it will remove
the Google Drive app for Windows and MacOS devices.
The
Google Drive support for desktop services will also be discontinued on December
11, 2017 . Furthermore, Google will completely remove Google Drive desktop on
March 12, 2018 .
For
you loyal users of Google Drive does not seem to worry. The reason being closed
is not its cloud storage service, but only for Windows and MacOS desktop
applications.
Google
suspends support for Google Drive desktop and requires users to use their
latest service, Google Backup and Sync .
Google
Backup and Sync is available for both Mac and Windows. You can create all the
data in a computer, folder, or other specific location, monitorable and backup
into Google Drive.
